My FOCUS Placement for Year 2

Since arriving in Conway, South Carolina just over nine months ago, God has worked so many miracles in my life. He has changed me in so many ways and has allowed the opportunity to grow and give an ever greater “yes” to mission every single day. There are so many different aspects of the Catholic community at Coastal Carolina University that have changed since arriving, and it makes me really excited to see how the campus ministry will continue to grow over the next year.

All the changes for the coming year will be amazing and a true gift, but as FOCUS is a missionary organization, we as missionaries must be open to moving at any time as the needs of the organization change, and my time has come.

It is with this in mind that I am happy to announce that I will be at Carnegie Mellon University for my second year of mission. It is bittersweet to be leaving Coastal Carolina and the Catholic community in Myrtle Beach after just one year, especially with all the relationships I’ve made during this time, but I look forward to living mission in Pittsburgh this coming year and what God has in mind during my time there.

I thank God for all He has done this year, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds. Please pray for Coastal Carolina University, Carnegie Mellon University, and for the students and teams at both campuses during this time of transition.
